Slow Android Auto

I test drove a MY25 CT4S and tested the Android Auto mapping function and twice, on a short drive, the mapping had a significant delay, say 10-30 sec, to reroute. I've never experience this before when using AA. The test was a major city (Houston) so there should not have been poor phone reception.

What gives? I know the native mapping is "slow" but was under the impression if I used AA the PCM is simply screen mirroring so it should perform as fast as my Samsung S23 phone. This phone is speedy when I use it in other vehicles as AA.

Yes I know if I use AA I lose some fidelity with battery preconditioning and planning. That's a compromise I'm willing to accept.

Did the Taycan have insulated glass? - it's known to affect cell phone reception.

It is a MY25 and when I look at the build sheet it appears to not have the insualted glass but it does have the Premium Package which for MY26 lists the insulated glass as part of the Premium Package. So is there an oversight on the labeling?

2025s do not have the "Thermally and Noise Insulated Glass" option as part of the Premium Package. That was added for 2026.
