speed exceeded

Since I had my car in for the lastest program upgrade (3 weeks ago) I get a "speed exceeded" warning and beep everytime I go over 30kph (close to 20Mph, in US).
It stops warning and disappears right away but .... Is there somewhere I can set this off? It's very bothersome and annoying.

In fact, just 17 countries use MPH of the 196 counties in the world (as of 2018), that’s just 9%.

My impression was of a funny aside on how the original remark could be misinterpreted as to how the conversion factor would be unique to the U.S., i.e., as opposed to the obvious original intention that the conversion factor is of interest mainly to the U.S (with our Freedom Units of measurement).
