Streaming content through passenger screen

I have just watched this YouTube video showing that the cayennes passenger screen allows video streaming such as Disney etc anyone with a taycan can confirm if it’s available on their passenger screens. Netflix and other providers will be available as well.

I think if it does make it to existing Taycan's, it won't stream to the passenger screen when the car is in motion due to it not having the "privacy filter" to prevent driver distractions.

But it might arrive for use at charging stops, etc.

I haven’t been able to stream on my passenger screen, just the main screen. It works through CarPlay and the passenger screen doesn’t use CarPlay. Just my experience.

Kufatec makes a dongle to disable this already. About 250 euros.

The taycan passenger display can definitely play video. I have some shows on a USB and occasionally watch it while waiting for ferries. I hope once streaming is released we will get an update.

Anyone had any luck with streaming on passenger display and if so what product was used.

not so far - but I would expect the refreshed Taycan to get the same passenger display as the Cayenne with the offangle filter that prevents the driver from seeing the screen - once the new screen is available in the Taycan (MY'2025 or later my guess) then content streaming will be supported in line with what the new Cayenne can do.
