Someone beat me to posting the link to my first video but I'll post it anyways. Let's just say my car was in rougher shape than I thought. But the folks at Metropolitan Detail made it glow. There are two more videos to go. Ceramic coating drops next week. Window film two weeks after that. Cheers!

Congratulations, @SoccerMan9404!
I STEKed my TS in January 2022 >>Love it.
My shop, Elite Motors in Concord, CA, ran my fresh-off-the boat TS through the same prep-and application process you experienced. You'll love washing your PPFd car :) I use a leaf blower to dry it off. The advantage of STEK hydrophobic PPF over Expel and other that are not hydrophobic.
I recommend a bottle of STEK Finish 16 to keep that hydrophobic surface shedding water.

I did front PPF and full ceramic coating on my car last month, today they added PPF to the screens and the display, and ceramic window tint to the windshield to block heat rays.

I'm almost all Stek for years due to clarity and quality. I tell everyone to use 10mil when possible for the front impact section.

The Stek ceramic layer will fade after around 8 months so adding that UV protection is crucial.

I'm about to reapply the the annual ceramic coating for maximum protection

I recently did a full ceramic coating and front PPF on my 2024 4S, a vehicle that is 2 years old and was amazed and how it came out afterwards. Glad you did yours too Tom, can’t wait for the next video.

Did you also do XPEL in the front windshield? I did because the heat in Texas is brutal, and I found it reduced about 70% of heat coming into the car.

Thanks Tom. I happened to catch/watch it when you first releqsed. Your car looks amazingly near-new now.

Between your getting a super deal on a pre-owned ne, and now this visual transformation, what an inexpensive way for you to get one an amazingly fun, capable, andgood-looking vehicle!

How long have you had the windshield protected? Did you also do the pano roof? I am really thinking about doing this, but the reviews seem mixed.

Heads up to others in the Seattle area. I also had STEK PPF applied to my 2021 4s at Metropolitan Detail, and it continues to look fabulous.

One important area to highlight that Tom mentioned is PPF on the headlights. Headlights can take a real beating from road debris, and are very noticeable when scratched or pitted. They are hugely expensive to replace. PPF reduces the likelihood.

Another recommendation is to use Chris Kirk at SameDay USA in Redmond/Bellevue for paint repairs if you add PPF after putting miles on the car. I have even removed my front license plate and the repair by SameDay is amazing. I now have a license plate in the front boot mounted to a tow-hook license plate holder from EOS Plates that is easy to put on and take off. You need it ON when going into Canada, but otherwise I don't use it.
