Maintenance switch? Hmm…

Rewrite the data to the chip on the back of the board? What chip was that? And where did they get they get the data to be written? From another Taycan?

Wow, there’s just so much about these cars that remains hidden since there’s no owner accessible tech or repair manuals.

My car was in for „parking damage“ as some lovely person scratched the right side of my car and was ready for pickup on Monday evening. I was then told Monday afternoon that there is now a free heater fix for my car that just came in and my heater was replaced yesterday.

Just received an email from Porsche NA.
"Porsche is committed to customer satisfaction and has decided to replace the High Voltage Battery Heater (HV Heater) in certain Taycan vehicles, including yours. The replacement HV heater for your Taycan is now available at your Porsche Center and we urge you to make an appointment to have this FREE service performed as soon as possible." A bit of a hassle as my dealer is 2.5 hours away. From reading above it sounds like a 2 day job, is that correct?
