Here’s what I’m tempted to buy… and at a pretty “good deal” (used but unused in original box, sold by authorized Rolex dealer in Germany). My dream watch.

I had the black face stainless steel on bracelet when they were very first released.
Loved the watch, but it was just a bit too big and top heavy for me, so I let it go.

Honestly, I'm not a huge Rolex fan overall, but I definitely like that watch. ? from me especially if you have a large wrist.

Its an amazing watch.

Although the 24 hour / GMT dial is obvious, whats less obvious is the annual calendar indicated by the red dot on the hour marker (4th marker on pic above = April).
So you also only ever have to adjust the date in Feb.

Various adjustments are made by clicking the bezel for the different settings.

Complicated watch which looks very simple.

Went to a local watch owners meet last night and among the coolest pieces I saw among various collections was this Credor Eichii II (variant with Roman numerals on the dial) and the new Ming 37.04 monopusher chrono.

Good lord, while I think Ming is a cool brand I never really wanted any of their pieces, except for this one... Of course I have to desire one of their more unattainable models (both in quantity and price) ?

Have a few others but these two seem to get all the wrist time for the last couple years. Glad I got them before things got stupid!

my green swatch definitely looks like the rolex. i got mine for $70 CAD

I first saw these (Chopard Eagle) advertised on that free Porsche magazine that gets sent.
I really like the green dial. It would be a good alternative for my Rolex Datejust.

But i also think its got a bit of a Patek Nautilus look to it......whuch is obviously a very good thing.

The green dial is lovely.
Hidden clasp on the rear and clear case back too.

Chopard is an interesting brand. The Eagle in green is a stunning piece that would seem to also be a great GADA watch. Nice pick.
