Why no remote locking on MY 2020?

Probably technical reasons, some bridging/relaying between buses missing, or perhaps no secure way for PCM to access the body controller in charge of locking/unlocking - a secure way may require factory provisioning not feasibly done by dealers after the fact. It might be that retrofitting a BCM would fix the issue, but Porsche decided not enough people would pay for it, and it might unnecessarily highlight the missing feature to owners who never had it and never even knew they could have.

Thanks- it isn't really a big deal for me--but it just seemed odd- so much so that I thought I might have been doing something wrong, or that I set something up improperly. The good news is that I am not an idiot (well, at least as it pertains to this!) and the bad news is that I don't have remote locking.

Sure we do. Works just fine.

If you have a 2020 I don't see how it can lock/unlock from the app- our hardware isn't capable.
