Definitely, I work for a large organisation so we have a huge fleet so I imagine Leaseplan are a little more helpful due to the size of our fleet.Just for info, when I originally ordered my model X via Zenith, I was at first placed in the 12 month waiting process that was the ‘norm’ at that time, I subsequently found a non used/non registered demo already in the UK. Zenith, with a few additional actions swapped my order in order to get the UK demo resulting with a reduced deliver from 12 months to 2 weeks.
So I think there is the ability to adjust a long lead order with another that is at a dealer BUT there will be some criteria that will need to be checked/required to be available to reduce resale risk for the lease company at the end of the Salary Sacrifice scheme. Points to note that our initial order/scheme is only half of their business plan, the other of course is the end of term resale - so I imagine a majority of Salary Sacrifice companies will not stray too far from their ‘norm’ process and/or reluctant to add/change their purchase process…I.e ‘risk adverse.
That said, I very much plan to buy my Taycan at the end of the lease due to the big discounts we are given.
