This weekend, I explored some of the more interesting roads through the Forest of Bowland, reputedly favoured by TVR (Blackpool) for development testing. In Sport Plus, the car was too jittery on the uneven surfaces, dips and brows, making the throttle jitter as well. Sport mode was an improvement but flowing progress was easiest in Normal, though even then the sharper dips needed treating cautiously to avoid scraping the front underside- I'm not aware of a way to force it to stay High above 90?kph.One of thye things which most impressed me when I first drove a Taycan was that it had a supple ride but with excellent body control, the roads around here are terrible.
It was a cross turismo though. In Sport the body control is little better but the ride is markedly worse so Normal is excellent for really pressing on in comfort.
I was impressed overall by the Sport plus setting on the Anglesey circuit which is quite cambered but few bumps.
