Good evening,

I am confused about which one out of these two options is better. One seems to have a better color and aesthetics, while the other one has better extras (panoramic roof, ambient lighting, etc.). Please assist the lady in making her choice. Thank you.

Option 1: https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB...terior-color-groups=ext-black&order=price_asc

Option 2: https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsche-taycan-gts-new-5LD8W0
I would be looking at a 4S - not a fan of GTS SPEC and some better bargains to be had. Defo need a panoramic roof imho!

There are no good/better/best Taycans….only the one that is best for you. Share a bit about yourself and how you intend to use the car for more informed perspectives on which is best suited.

Hard to comment from the US since option packages are a bit different here. It looks like neither has ACC which would be a deal killer for me.

Personally , it depends on you. Rear axle steering is a must have for some and for others like me I could barely tell the difference .pano roof is great if you sit in the back seat . If.not it doesn’t make a big difference . Especially on a black car. I am not a fan of race Tex but you must be because both cars have it. Wheels are a personal choice . I had mission e wheels on a Taycan turbo and loved them. I have the RS wheels on my current GTS Sport turismo and they are just ok for me. Having owned both versions - I agree with the other comments that the Sport Turismo is much more practical that the standard sedan .lastly , your choices are a little like deciding between two high end televisions - they both look great individually and if not compared side by side either would be a great choice . If you compare them side by side you may have a personal preference for one over the other but that preference is generally pretty subjective . Regardless which you choose you can’t go wrong the Taycan is a great car.

Pano roof (a must - it will be dark and claustrophobic otherwise
Wrong!
It is neither dark nor claustrophobic, any more than any vehicle for the last century before skylights in cars became a thing.

Privacy glass may make it dark and claustrophobic if you have a normal car roof though.

Have to agree to disagree on this one Frank. IMHO, Pano roofs introduce additional light which is a positive / uplifting experience in an otherwise dark cabin.

The saloon in particular suffers from 'darkness' in the rear due to the slightly lower roof line - your CT with a tin roof may not to the same extent.

Personally, if there were 2 identically spec'd cars with 1 sole differentiating item i.e. a Pano roof - I would chose the one with a Pano roof in a heartbeat.

I have owned cars for over 50 years Adrian, during that time glass roofs were not common and I have never had a "dark cabin" in a car, except at night.

Myself I have never owned a daily car with a glass roof, though quite a few had metal sun-roofs.
We had 2 family people carriers which had glass roofs which I hated - a lot - but luckily both had shades that could be drawn over them to solve that problem but without making the either dark or claustraphobic - just probably cooler.

One of the several reasons I didn't find a used Taycan I would be prepared to pay money for is that so few hadn't got a glass roof.

So if there were 2 cars for sale I'd be prepared to pay a bit more for the one with the sculpted ally roof - as long as it wasn't ruined by "privacy" glass of course ;)

Option 2 will have the more comfortable ride, as it's on 20" wheels compared with the 21" ones on option 1.
Option 2 seems to lack Lane Change Assist, which is a good safety feature on roads with more than one lane each way.
Do you particularly want the all-fabric interior instead of leather, the alleged sportier/edgier driving experience and branding of the GTS? If not, you'll likely get better value with a 4S.
