This is a sloppy video. The Tesla has 19" wheels for a start and what difference does the suspension setting matter if the car is in "cheetah" mode? Most importantly, if both cars went around a corner, the difference between the cars becomes immediately apparent. A family saloon with a party trick vs a prestige, performance EV.

I think the car needs to be at its lowest for cheetah to function probably, but I could be wrong

It’s just a drag race, boring, as is 0-60’s. There’s no comparison to make, both are at different markets. One is a family saloon, the other a executive saloon.

What they will say is that perhaps they did not let the Tesla battery heat up for the absolute peak performance - which I understand could take 30 minutes or so. Of course, you don't have to do that in the Porsche.....

All in all, the best electrical cars at this time, both very impressive.

Yes totally agree. Both very nice cars.

The problem with these drag races and comparisons is, that in order to make the Tesla perform max you need to do several things:

- charge battery close to 100%
- turn on Ludicrous+
- wait approximately 40-50 min for the battery to heat up
- in launch mode, wait to cheetah stance is all the way down
- GO!

In the Porsche it is just:

- Launch mode
- GO!

So the Tesla 1/4 mile time is really closer to 40-50 min?:CWL:
