Yes agree. Had an RS6 and a c63 previously and even though both had road presence and a certain poise.. they are nothing like the scale of the Taycan.

For sure! Porsche’s skill at compromising some technical aspects of a car in favor of some emotional aspects has been a masterclass up until this point. They seem to be biasing towards technical competence these days…across the lineup which is somewhat concerning.

Me too.

I have been looking at other EV options if I decide to replace the Taycan.
After looking at them, I then look at my car and know I will always feel some remorse if I change to something else.

The look and drive of the thing, balances out all the warranty/repair issues i've had to endure.

Yes! Absolutely i felt the same! But after 6 months on the dealer try to repair a red light about the battery i quit. Now i will wait for the next gen of Taycan maybe 2028 to buy again. The best car i ever have! Now i have a Cayenne Coupe 2024 not the same as good looking turn heads as Taycan, but i will wait or maybe buy a 911. But i have to tell you that is the best looking car i ever had.

I’ve always said that the true test of the beauty of a car is when it’s covered in dust or dirt the silhouette from any angle gives an emotional response.
The Taycan is one of the few vehicles with such a silhouette and as a sedan there are none more emotionally satisfying. My 2021 is perfect but I do fear the changes in 2025 & beyond are a slight departure from perfection. My 2021 is the perfect blend of beauty, performance & functionality…
