MY2024 Taycan - My Porsche App not showing up on PCM

Hi, I upgraded my iPhone 15 to iOS 18 and ever since that, the 'My Porsche' icon no longer appears within the Car Play menu. One of the cool things with MY2024 model was the Car Play Plus which worked well in iOS 17 so I could remain in Car Play without having to go to PCM menu.
Does anyone else have this issue?

I'm on iOS 18.0.1. The "My Porsche" icon shows up in Car Play. I never use it, except to intermittently check if there is something new that is worth using (not so far), so I can't say for certain but it appears the same as ever.

I'm on an iPhone 13 mini (gawd I love that phone!) on iOS 18.0.1 and have no issues seeing MyPorsche in Car Play PCM.

* Only posted to to say how much I like the mini phone size. It didn't sell well – so giant phones for the future I guess. Huff.

Same for me. Initially MyPorsche app didn’t show in iPhone CarPlay settings, now does, but didn’t show in CarPlay PCM. Not checked recently though.

@Novemberwhisky It finally appeared for me after I did the following.
1. Did the 2 finger reboot of the PCM.
2. Locked the car for a few minutes
3. In the meantime, I switched off the iPhone
4. Unlocked the car
5. Turned on the iPhone
6. Voila - the icon appeared on the Apple Carplay in PCM

I don't know if that sequence means anything for other owners, but worked for me. Total guesswork I must admit

It came back for me but has gone again since I updated to 18.0.1.
The Porsche widget on the widget page is all black (you press it and it does act as a shortcut) so my feeling is the latest iOS update and the updated Porsche app aren’t playing nice together.

I am on 18.01 and it worked with the above sequence of steps

believe it or not, it turned up in my Ford mustangs sync 3 menu. Maybe it goes on holiday there, frequently!

That’s right the widget does not appear.
The My Porsche icon on the Apple Car Play menu is the only way I access.
You are right, we need to wait for Porsche to catch up and fix the software

If you just turn your phone off and back on then the shortcut (& widget) reappear.
How long for, is anyone’s guess, but it’s a work around for now.

Hi, I’m new on this forum And saw this threa.
i’m the owner of a Taycan 4 CT MY23 and I’m having the same problem. I did not do the reboot but all they other I tried, but without success.hopefully we find the issue
