BAY AREA owners: Where do you mount your Fastrak Flex transponder?

I placed the FASTrak FLEX transponder around the mirror areas indicated by the manual and neither the HOV nor toll gate sensors are picking it up.

Where is everyone placing this Flex transponder?

(NOTE THIS IS NOT related to the RFID sticker issued out via Tollroads.com for SoCal)

I have mine in top corner of windscreen passenger side - it has never missed a pick up and use TOLL ROADS at least 4 times a week....

Do you have the RFID sticker or the old big white box? I have the RFID sticker mounted top center behind the rearview mirror in the black dot pattern and it works great.

I have the simple, thin layer sticker, and I do not have privacy class

I believe all j1.1 in the US has thermal insulated glass, so we should all have similar issues (at least in CA as we use the same transponders)

You'll need to use Fastrak flex for HOV lane discounts. Golden Gate Bridge also provides a nominal discount to use the transponder

Can you take a picture of the sticker? Not sure what sticker you're referencing, but I'm using the Flex transponder box, issued around 2022. It's the thin version that has the toggle for passenger count

Sorry if I'm a bit confused l, but is this already on the flex transponder? Or how do I get this piece?

My sticker is the same as the post ^ @figure1a - and here is an interesting scoop - I got an additional transponder sticker that I used for the 2025 loaner I had while my 4S was getting recalls done (for 4-6 weeks they told me) - I dropped the loaner off last Friday and put the transponder in my laptop case - just looked this morning and my trip along the 73 on Monday in my 4S charged BOTH the Transponder in my own 4S - AND the 2025 loaner transponder in my laptop - hilarious - so in my case there is no problem reading it - even when having it in my laptop case on the passenger seat cost me $2.38
