Cracked side mirror housings?

I just noticed both of my side mirrors on my 2021 CPO have the exact same cracks on the side of the housing closest to the windows.
There doesn’t appear to be any impact to cause these cracks to be in exactly the same place. I initially thought they were just the seam of the mirror housing when assembled but I have confirmed they are actually cracks all the way through and the whole length of the mirror housing.

That is a very strange failure. I wonder if it is a stress crack in the moulding at a weak point. It looks quite linear, and is not a place where an impact would usually occur. Well worth speaking to Porsche about this in my opinion.

That’s what I thought too since both cracks are in the exact same spots with no obvious impacts to either mirror.
I’ll show the cracks to my service advisor this week to see what he says…

Looks like PPF seams

At first that’s what I thought it could be until I looked at it closer and can see it is cracked completely through from outside to inside. It is a weird crack that migrates from & to the same spots. It’s not like the car sees extreme heat or cold to develop these cracks. Not sure what caused it?
