Drive mode at high speed

I kid you not!
only got 2 speeding tickets in the past 32 years. The first was 30km too fast in the old 911.. the second was my brother in law picking us up from our wedding night in my car…
I always stick to the rules, they’re there for a reason. But love to drive with fast cornering and traction.

You're talking about the two events you got caught though...
I seriously can't drive below the speed limit, honestly.
It's such a joy to drive a ridiculous fast accelerating car that I pass my fellow road users often way faster than the speed limit.
And yes, I use (payed) Flitsmeister of course!
I once lost my driver license.
Twice.
Hé, it's not my fault, it's Porsche's fault!

Oh, another thing.
It's just ridiculous we have to drive 100 km/h instead of 130 km/h by daytime just for the environment (NOx/COx).
An EV doesn't even have any emissions!!

EV’s should be able to go-go-go
but I’m all in favor of controlling speeds for environmental reasons in general actually.

T.b.h. I was a bit surprised no tickets arrived the past 1,5 month… This car accelerates so fantastically, especially after 14 years in a Toyota IQ. You can imagine how many times I speeded unintentionally! Getting used to her, so now I’m behaving again

also had a fun moment a short while ago. Was first at the traffic light with a police motorcycle behind me. Just went for it at green, right to 85 or so (80kpg road). Policeman in the pursuit of course, passed me a little later looking really surprised , he probably thought he could catch me speeding. Mwahahah

My first speeding ticket ever was going 40 mph on a posted 35 mph speed limit, that’s 64 kph on a posted 56 kph limit.

Yeah, I had a similar experience.
There were two traffic lights, 800 m separated and one motorcycle.
He was on the right, I put my car next to him.
Green; hit the gas and he didn't realize I wanted to race him so he never tried, well, he tried but was too late.

Next traffic light, but now I'm on the right; oh, he was triggered, you could tell, lol!
Green: same thing, beat him again but now the fun part:
The road came together into one driving lane but we ran out of room, he miss-shifted, high in the rev limiter! Lol!!!
What a prutser!
He got it into gear again and he passed me cuz I had to slow down for cars in front of me.
He just kept going past all the cars...
I guess he didn't want to know he lost.
Twice!

I always race supercars, Audi R8, Lamborghini Huracan, Mercedes C63 AMG, Corvettes, etc.
It's just pure fun.
Men never grow up, only the toys get bigger...
Ok, I do behave most of the time but sometimes the time is just right.

PS I don't have any badge on the car and my brake calipers are black (as an option) so it's not very clear I drive a Turbo S.

Always check your tyres kids. Recommend:

- check for excessive inner shoulder all the way round every tyre. If you can’t easily jack it up, watch the tyre when on full lock with someone else rolling it forward slowly
- no bulges cracks etc
- ensuring you have the right speed rating
- ensure pressures are high enough for your load condition - more vital at speed

Low features as default height when in both Range and Sports Plus where the latter in itself is really intended for track usage. Autobahn may feel like a racetrack but it isn't given the many other users on the road.

Always wondered why they don't have GTS caveats on there. "Sport-lowered/low depending on speed."
