guessometer is often erroneously high immediately after charging to 100%.

Pleasantly surprised to find since I carried out the update I've gained about 10 miles of range on the dash 'guessometer', although I expect that'll drop gradually over the next few weeks as the car recalibrates/readjusts to my driving style.
Very good chance this is purely coincidental. I can raise my guess-ometer with a very unspirited 20 minute drive, then charge the battery back. Heck, in my wife's eTron, me driving a car even once noticeably drops the guessometer, then she drives it next day, guessometer goes back up.

Yeah, I expect it'll return to mid 240's after a while. Nice whilst it lasts! :p

I noticed that after this OTA update, my stored suspension raise at my house got lost. Saving it again worked. I also noticed a rather odd occurrence, when I entered my car this evening, despite it having been plugged in all day, the SoC showed 84% even though the general timers is set to charge to 85% - perhaps the update changed the threshold at which the car will top off the HV battery, or some bug got introduced to the software, or I got super lucky and got into the car just before the top off was going to start.

When I charged yesterday it also stopped at 84%. However this morning it was miraculously - without a connected charger - at 85%!
woldnt that be a nice update to charge without charging ;D

Generally, my experience with the taycan is that its SoC calculations when car is sitting are off. For example, I've noticed it might lose up to 6% SoC in the first miles driven. Other times, it sits undriven for two weeks and loses 0% SoC. Not a problem with continuous drive though, it never loses SoC. I guess that its BMS is calibrated differently than other EV cars.

See CT14's comment there. The global design is similar (though there was a simplification of the battery cooling piping at some point), but there's been several generations of battery modules :
- C-> 2019/2020 "terrible they always fail"
- G-> 2020/2021
- H-> 2021/2022
- J-> 2022/2023
- K-> 2024+
etc.
Is there a way to confirm which one each car has or is it purely on model year?

I'm also curious about the purpose of this update. Lately, I've noticed that my charging speed isn't as fast as it used to be and it just won't hit the peak charging rate even when all the conditions are perfectly met (SoC below 10%, battery temperature at 35°C, and using a 360 kW DC fast charger).

I'm hoping this update will restore the previous DC fast charging performance, though I have a feeling I’ll be disappointed since Porsche is incredibly proud.
