Where in the world are you based out of?

I'm in Atlanta.

My car is lemon flavored but the service here doesn't help. Three 22kW charging boards, seat cushion recall, all the software stuff, lots of run arounds getting new brake Iines and the EVSE recall. My car spends about two to three months per year in their service bays, often waiting for them to do anything or get parts. Given the difficulty getting cells, unless they throw a whole new J1.2 battery in there, I expect to see it just before Q3 . Hopefully I get an EV Macon

Ok. Can’t explain this one. After being RROD all day on Monday, the car sprung back to life yesterday . I need to take it in for the camera software recall and I’ll have them check it out in depth. I took photos but I’m sure their scan tools will read this.

Could just be that the BMS did a rebalancing procedure of the cells. But highly likely that a cell is about to die.

That’s my guess. I’m just outside the range of some of the other cell recalls that were due to badly crimped LG packs. This car is one of the Pandemic scarcity/Ukraine War wiring harness factory closure/Transport ship sinking triple whammy cars where everything was delayed to the point the early 22 delivery for this MY22 became January 2023. I’ve had the odd Red Ring here and there. My guess is there’s something amiss due to the crazy times surrounding the assembly and supply chain.

Not necessarily. I had it happen to me recently, had service scan it after it came back to life, no issues. The faults were in the history, but nothing actionable (per Porsche procedures). Batteries check out fine (verified it myself, both via PIWIS and tCanPro reports all cells and isolation numbers very happy). My guess is it was a DC-DC converter (one of the faults was from it), but after it recovered it is not reporting any more faults.

"HV battery control unit (WST2)" PCM reported the update was successful on March 23, 2026. This upgrade message occurred 4 days after the recall service was done for ASB2 (Reprogramming driver assistance systems) and WSS6 (Reprogramming 12V battery sensor).

Good luck getting Macan EV. Many report delays by a month already given global events. This is similar to your flight delays that start and then the plane does not fly.

My dealer thankfully has a few. We even bought a CPO EV Macan off them. Got an ICE one the last time. Thankfully it’s been fine since its hiccup and I’ll book the next recall for when I have a good moment.

Same here WST2 update appeared in mine the day after I did all of the recalls you mention. There must be a link. But in my case the car failed to complete the update 10 days in a row. I had to take it to service, they forced it manually without success. Finally yesterday they had to do a 12V battery reset, and full reset of PCM for the car to accept the update. Still a mistery what this update does. Dealer had no idea what it is.
