With a bike, I might be Ok with 20% degraded battery. For a Taycan, whose range is not big in the first place, that would be a problem at least for me. Also, I am trying to use a built-in feature, which only seems to work from time to time. ‍♂️

well the Porsche Taycan User Manual would disagree. It says no more than 85% for day to day charging.

Hi all, This is the third time it has happened my Taycan to charge do 100% on my home three phase AC charger, despite I have a Home Profile which says no more than 80%. Here's a pic of my centre console display, which shows both, my Home Profile being active and 80% being the limit... and the...

all but (5) have not happened to me since 12th of March (this is when my Taycan arrived). 5 has happened at least 4 times so far. And sometimes the display would even work when car is locked.

at least some of those (apple carplay wifi for example) is coming to all of us via a software update, according to my dealer

hope they fix the clima to be controllable when the car is off. My controls don’t seem to be accessible when off. I am still delaying my dealer visit to update due to COVID-19. How do you guys cope with that?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think there's a way to limit the charging from inside the car at all. The only way I have found out so far, besides getting the plug out obviously, is to create a location based profile and limit it there. In the app the limit is described as "minimum charge...

Nope, no other profiles. But as I said timers are not working at all, while the should charge up-to 80% works... somewhat. One time it did not work for sure.

Sure, this is my home profile. At one time I even found the car charged to 100% at home.....

Mine charges to 100 on optimal, although the booklet says 85% is optimal for daily use. Also it never charges during the hours I've said - it charges when I plug it in.

it’s pretty much useless, although you can do almost anything on it. But on mine it basically says Taycan all the time
