it’s untrue to say the Taycan will never ever shift, as it has a gearbox, unless you drive at sports+,in normal mode it will shift if you put your pedal to the metal at 80km/h. And it isn’t a particularly fast shift either. On the other side, if the Taycan is at sports+, so should be the 911...

As I own both (991.2 TTS and a Taycan Turbo S) this statement is simply untrue. In real world, the 991 Turbo S is faster, every single time, everywhere. Not by much, but it is faster.

while that may be true, I do own several other Porsches with either Bose or Burmester and was led to believe the Bose in the Taycan would have audiophile like quality, much like my other cars do. Disappointed to say it doesn’t... but hey, anyone can have their opinion, right?

I own a Taycan turbo and a 991.2 TTS and a Macan Turbo. The 911 is NOT lower. In fact, my 911 has an Aero package, but because of it's shorter nose it would require much less frequent lifting, than the Taycan does. The Taycan (at least mine, with sports package) needs to be lifted pretty much...

I saw this before, thanks, really helpful. Because of that I tried to drive only on Range mode (read somewhere it keeps the battery warm) and I drove with 150km/h until I got down to around 50% from 100%. Then charged to around 70% in 20ish minutes on a 50kw/400volt station. Then drove some...

upgraded. But I just tried a 60kw 500volt station and it too charged at 46-47kw only. :/

I am sure I need help from them already. But it’s Saturday. And this used to work for two months... then all of a sudden I went for an update in the PC and three days later - kaboom.

I can login but cannot see the car. Also, the car’s built in 4G does not seem to be getting any data through, as none of the Taycan connected services seems to be working. Anyone knows of a way to reboot just networking services?

Not really. I have it on my 991.2 TTS too, four years of fun now, no single issue observed.

indeed a great read! I love the PTV+. It really makes the car so much fun exiting pretty much any corner out there, even at very low speeds :)
