Nice!! I took my parents on a trip to Tofino a couple of years. One the most beautiful places I have visited. Would have loved to have had my Taycan for the drive, some twisty hairpins as you get close to the coast.
Night vision also works well in the city. On a rainy night I had a guy dart across the street and the car automatically pulled up the night vision view highlighting the pedestrian. I was impressed.
Although more expensive, two sets is the best way. Taking tires on and off the rims is prone to damage. Not worth the risk. I went to extreme on my previous setup and switched cars entirely for the winter!!
for me personally though I am going to try all seasons due to the hassle of...
Sorry!! I actually changed my options and decided to go with the carbon fibre standard ones before my build locked. I did this when I added the carbon fibre mirrors.
I have the Turbo S with Mission E wheels - from what I have seen in this thread and others, the RWD with the smaller has equal to or better range than what I am getting (~260 miles). I think you will be fine with smaller battery. I happy with the range in mine. Sure, longer would be better...
I am fairly certain you can do this now. I saw a video from PC Car Whsiperer that demonstrated this function on MY2021 and with the new software on MY2020.
This! I read this forum and knew what to expect. That tempered my expectations with regards to the software. The driving experience has exceeded my expectations and I look for excuses to drive. I loved my Nissan GTR - I put 52,000km in just over 10 years with that car. In the three months I...
I consistently get ~260 miles and always drive in Sports Plus with full AC on a Turbo S with Mission E wheels. I am very happy with the range since I don’t even try to optimize it.
This EV versus ICE transition is playing out on the ads during the British Open. The Audi eTron GT RS is a premier sponsor. Those ads are followed by the BMW M3/M4 ad. The Audi plays up the technology and refinement that comes with an EV and the M the playful power and driving experience...
When I collected my car, they spent over an hour with me going over almost everything, including setting up CarPlay and charging the car. Although I knew most of the features from this forum, I let him walk me through it to see it in person. I actually corrected him on a couple of points (yes...
I use the surround view as well to park. I find the overhead view helpful to guide into the spot and then use the front or rear camera to get as close to the back line as possible without going over it. Works fine and doesn’t slow me down.
Good thing you found out about that feature without an actual crash. Nice to know it is there. I also didn’t realize the car had it. At some point I will read the manual. I am sure there are a lot of things that I don’t even realize the car has.
