Indeed and already noted, but the version of PCM 6 that 2020 and 2021 are using doesn't have AA functionality. The question was aimed more at uncovering of these older non-2022 cars would receive a software upgrade to accommodate that feature.
I also was able to use the demonstrator but not my car. You might want to call Porsche Connect directly and ask them if they can confirm your Vin and username are connected. If you've already done so, I'm out of ideas. Coincidentally,I had a similar problem as you with my Mercedes in 2019. It...
Hey guys. As a new worlder, I'm confused by this. Are the lanes narrow because they are old, or does London purposely build new narrow roads for a particular reason, and what might that be?
Any chance of a photo? Dying to see this and don't know what to search for online. "South London narrow...
I had the same issue. To resolve it, my salesman called Porsche while we were in the car and ensured that my account was activated and linked to the VIN. Only then were we able to log in.
Agree completely. I don't understand this delay. I wonder if the aero blades from Thule would fit. I'm just uncertain about the mounts. Anyway, I'm in the same position as you.
Are you utterly trying to be obtuse? 5-20k for a 4k camera? Just drive any other freaking car, especially the Mercedes, and tell me that you think it's not literally infinitely better.
Christ, I am as much a Porsche enthusiast as the next guy, but some of you threaders are pathetic apologists...
No, you missed my point. A clear rear view camera is not rocket science in 2021. Every other German automaker, and all the Japanese and Korean automakers, have nailed a rear view camera...perhaps the most important component on a car considering you are driving in reverse.
I don't begrudge them...
Fair points, but range anxiety for most commuters is way overstated. I imagine that long distance trips represents less than 5% of all EV trips in contrast to actually going back and forth to work or shopping. For that, frankly, 100 miles of range might be enough.
But, I take your point...
You've missed the point: this is a $100k+ vehicle. Fine is how the previously mentioned Kia should work. The Porsche should be able to see through walls.
I think you'd only miss it in the city, in parallel parking and in garages. If you park at home and in outdoor parking lots, can't really see the purpose. As for the highway speed RAS, I haven't noticed it at all.
@zer0t I had the same thing with my lease into purchase approach using BofA. Applied, got a code, gave it to salesman at Porsche and good to go. Outstanding rate, though not as solid as yours. BofA indicated that it varied state to state and was also based on pre-existing banking relationships...
Two good points and one dubious point. First, the "while-already-moving (WAM)" acceleration is definitely better with the bigger battery in the 4S. It's one of the reasons I moved in that direction, but not the principal one. Instead, it's because of your second point: the PB+ does indeed charge...
I'm confused. I don't see you regenerating power at all, which to my recollection would be the green arc moving counter-clockwise from top dead center.
You're right that it's in an awkward place and thus tough to get it turning. But once you insert the wrench snugly, you should feel comfortable giving it a firm turn.
A word of repeated advice: when you are reinstalling the new markers, remember to PRE-thread the markers before you set them in...
