The level of cognitive bias in this thread is surreal. The only reason we saw sticky prices for a while was because of shortages due to COVID and the sinking of the transatlantic cargo ship.
Hate to break it to all new Taycan buyers but it will age (depreciate) like the Panamera. Period. This...
I have (or had) this exact same time frame as you, down to the date. Logged into TYD today and delivery now postponed until November 25. Ugh.
It's a 22 GTS. As we are so close to 2023, is it unwise to accept this car? With interest rates way up and demand slowing, I worry what new builds will...
Mine disappeared from the app and the web site but if I use the link they emailed me, it loads up. Still waiting for shipment with a last update from July 22.
I think the real comparison must include whether or not the VLC pano is dimmed or clear. If it's the latter, it's not really an apple to apples comparison. If it is dimmed, then it definitely does not look as sleek.
Two things to your third question:
1. I find all of the autopark features awful in New York City. My thought was that they worked better in the burbs, but clearly not.
2. Oh man. I feel your pain. My wife laughing at all my unanticipated failures is the bane of all my exploits that don't work...
You guys are eagle eyed. I would not have caught that at all. Bravo. Many Porschephiles in here.
If it is legit, I do wonder if it's a sourcing issued as mentioned earlier in the thread.
I guess the real key is to determine when they updated the 2020 MY after release is the 2021. I only hope there is light at the end of the tunnel. I really don't enjoy the iOS interface.
I do think this could be the heart of the matter. Porsche's wide angle camera is not a hardware adjustment but rather a software one. So as you mentioned, perhaps it can be resolved eventually.
However, these little issues, and there are many, simply beg one to ask how many corners VW/Porsche...
First, as a recommendation, do a search on this forum and you'll find plenty of threads about this very topic.
Second, and directly, the Bose is average. It's a much better value than the Burmester and absolutely required over stock. But it's pretty weak compared to competing mid premium...
"Skimp?" Indeed. Nothing like a heavier wheel that's slower and gets reduced efficiency all in the name of dubious aesthetic.
Back on topic, buy full leather over large wheels any day of the week. You don't see the wheels from inside the car.
Now hold on Scott, you aren't getting off that easy. Talk to us about "dust[ing] the wheels after every use". You park the car and take out a feather duster, or do you use a spray? Does it still build up and require a proper wash, but perhaps just over a longer period of time?
Nor I!
The trick is to hold down the recuperation button on the steering wheel for almost 1 second and it will switch to automatic for you. Not too much trouble to do each time you get in the car and certainly no more than spinning the sport synchro knob to I or S+. Indeed, I just think about...
Indeed and already noted, but the version of PCM 6 that 2020 and 2021 are using doesn't have AA functionality. The question was aimed more at uncovering of these older non-2022 cars would receive a software upgrade to accommodate that feature.
