Hi mine was normal delivery august 3 rd, now it will be hopefully september 17th, and yes it will be a MY22 instead of a 21 model.

It's hard to imagine that they'll be producing model years 2021 and 2022 simultaneously. What is your start production date?

normally end of may. Postponed due to parts by Porsche. So production date will now be first week of september. productions my2022 starts in september.

Congratulations! You must be taking delivery at or near the factory and will be enjoying your 2022 while my 2021 is still in Emden.

Our '21 CT currently shows "completed" 7/15, and ready for Emden on 9/10, so if what '22 buyers are currently being shown holds true, '22s will be rolling out before the last '21s leave?????

You can't expect the factory to close down between the end of 2021 production and the last 2021 delivered. So, given different transit times to different delivery locations, this is unavoidable. The good news is that our vehicles will be on the ship together.

Exactly, from everything I know from ordering cars for more years than I care to remember, this is not happening.

My 2022's production date just changed from 08/27/2021 to 09/03/2021, FWIW.

My car entered production july 16th and stuck in factory for missing parts. Any chance it could become a 2022 model ? Should be out of production early-mid September according to my dealer. May be production hasn’t started yet who knows …

That's between you and your dealer. If your car is already started and sitting in the factory during the shutdown waiting for parts like ours is, then it already exists and already has a 2021 VIN. We asked and were actually given our VIN already so no way ours will be a 2022, even though it leaves the factory during 2022 production (after the shutdown). Not happy with this.

How many people here are in that same situation?

How many people here are in that same situation?

I am partially in the same situation. I ordered a 2021 in May but was notified by the dealer in June that it would be "upgraded" to a 2022 at no additional charge. Later, I was told that it would be a 2021 and enter production on 27 August. I was quite upset with the dealer whose service has been poor throughout. They offered me a choice between a modest concession on the '21 or cancelling that vehicle and ordering a 2022 at the new price and later delivery. In the end, I did not want to risk delivery being pushed into 2022 when US tax incentives might be unavailable nor did I think the very modest changes to the '22 justified the price differential. Ultimately I am getting the car I agreed to at a somewhat better price.
