It will exist. Audi has already said so a few months prior. I bet there is a release within 10 months. I also think the vehicle will knock everyone's socks off so long as Porsche uses the proper architecture and battery tech this sucker can come at no weight gain versus the retired 718. A twin rear motor EV sports car, with such fine throttle control, would be the absolute peak driver's experience.
Most of the whiners who sing ICE ICE BABY are driving PDK versions. I think the stick guys like me will trade the shifting fun for being able to steer the car with the throttle to a level not yet seen.
