Not sure I like the butthole on the back, but I'll deal.
Should be great for you guys in USA, with the tesla chargers, since they have such short cables. Much better than on the side.

Oh sure. 10/10 for charger access, 1/10 for rear aesthetics. It's not well hidden and the large rectangular door in the middle sticks out.

Tesla is upgrading it’s chargers, the new ones have longer cords. I’ve been able to park normal and charge my Rivian rather then take up two spaces.

All manufacturers should really agree on a uniform position for the charging flap.
Ideally, left rear to match Tesla and many others.
It's daft having front, front left, front right, bonnet, rear, rear right etc.
And I suspect many people with a garage, prefer to reverse in and their charger is likely nearer the garage door than the back of the garage.

By the time this is available my 2022 Taycan will have depreciated so much that it’s possibly worth keeping and having one of these as well. Interesting.

I came to the Taycan a few years after launch. How do you get early information about a waiting list for a new model? Be friendly/persistent with the dealer? Or just watch forums and wait for info

In Europe you don’t need a waiting list, you can order it online day 1 it releases

also, it’s an electric porsche… they will try to sell you one without you asking, no need to worry
