Turbo and Turbo S should be identical. Both are 617hp without overboost

There is no data there for acceleration with "no launch control" except for the 80-120km/h. Interestingly Turbo S is faster there than Turbo, even though they are supposedly the same spec without launch control. Does that mean that overtaking somehow taps launch control power? I always wondered why everyone says Porsche didn't do that, allow max power for 2.5s every 30s or a minute (whatever the sustained launch control interval is supposed to be).

I think the reason for this is the danger of the enormous acceleration while also steering(overtaking). Even without it you have to be careful not to be too close to your predecessor when initiation an overtake or else you'll hit them.

Turbo S is faster than Turbo because of 200 Nm more. Helps with the weight.

Having driven both, it's measurable (i.e. using tools), not noticeable (using feeling).

Turbo S has more power than stated by Porsche.
Not sure about the regular Turbo.

How much HP is the Turbo S putting to the wheels?
From a 4s Dyno, I noticed about an 8% loss to the wheels.

They are talking about having seen 950 Nm/750 PS (740 HP) during driving with another Turbo S.
On this test it's 892 Nm with 725 PS (715 HP) on the dyno.
That's 565 PS (557 HP) at the wheels.
Note that this is done in second gear.
In first gear it's more (obviously).
