Add a tracker where to tap 12V

Because I don't want to subscribe to a £300 a year service (presumably on top of a Connect subscription for another £300 which I also don't particularly need) when I've bought a decent tracker and a 5 year data sim card for less than £50 all in and use my existing car/people tracking server which can integrate into my home automation platform to provide a heck of a lot more functionality for me

thanks. sorted it last night works perfectly and can track and play back all trips , showing speed and everything .. very happy with the results!
now to do some nice automation routines which blast out flood lights, alarms and send notifications should the car start/move if me or the wife are not in the car :)

all for the grand total of £30

Good for you and fingers crossed that your 12v battery continues to to play ball - that's the underlying risk I see.
