Of course, I immediately knew what it was, the cosy warm cabin was super cold yesterday morning....and of course here spring takes time to come so was a bit chilly. Anyway, called Porsche, I just talked to the receptionist - and when the tech guys called me back, they had already booked a slot for swapping the unit and prepared a replacement vehicle. So I guess this is really really a common issue.
I forgot to ask what they actually do, are they replacing with a "fixed" unit which I assume has a design or manufacturing defect or it will be exactly the same and the issue will come back again? Anyone knows?

As far as I know, they are replacing the heating element with the same unit which means the problem may arise again in the future. I'm in the same boat waiting for my heating unit from the dealer.

Are you sure? Elsewhere I read that people were waiting longer for their new Taycan orders, because they were stalled in the factory, waiting for a different heater to be installed.

Would be good to have some authoritative information on the matter.
