Anyone else get these errors?

Now it is colder (UK), most mornings and many evenings I get sensor errors.
I suspect this is because condensation is getting to the sensor on the inside of the screen (see image).
My routine is:
  • Start preconditioning, perhaps 20 mins before I get in the car.
  • After approx 1 mile, the alerts start.
  • My drive to work is circa 6.5 miles - 15 mins max. Sometimes the alerts stop 1/2 mile before my destination, sometimes not.
Is this unique to my car?
If not, did your dealer fix it?
I suspect the sensor surround wasn't correctly bonded to a dry windscreen.

Had it around three times last winter. I also thought it was because of the condensation. I’ve noticed that the errors disappear after a 5 min drive

This is definitely due to the condensation over the sensors and timing of the error reporting. This is not unique.

Not unique. My 4S has always been behaving like that in freezing cold conditions

I get the same errors in very heavy fog or very heavy rain. All has to do with the sensors in the windshield getting covered, at least in my experience

Same here, I get several sensor warnings coming up after a few minutes driving when it is cold.

I warm the car up prior to driving and can't see any obvious fogging or obstructions. I just clear the message as it goes away after a few more minutes anyway.

Never had this issue before on any of my cars, but I am not concerned now I know I am not alone....

My condensation is on the inside where the sensor is, not on the outside.
The outside sensors were clear.
For the past week or so, happened every ride.

I haven't been able to clear the errors because they return immediately and last for several minutes.
During which time several safety features are disabled and the auto adjusting headlights don't work.
One to be added to the next dealer visit in Dec.

I hope you get it resolved.

I have never seen this happen. Something is not right with the roof to windscreen seal.
I would have to assume this sensor area is sealed where headlights are vented.
This kind of fog would obscure all kinds of sensors and will have the errors.

Same here. It pops up after 500m drive, and goes away after few minutes. I usually wipe the windscreen to make sure no debris are around the top camera.

Normal - condensation is normally the explanation if sensors are free from dirt and camera area is clean / clear.

WBA warning is the usual one.
