So, decided to pop to an independent Porsche place near me today to see if they could clear the airbag light. They don’t work on taycans ( older Porsches really). They plugged in but apparently the car wanted to re program some modules before allowing it to go to the airbag screen and they didn’t fancy letting it start in case of issues. Get this but frustrating.
So, need a plan b. Really don’t want to go to dealer. What sort of software would an indie need to clear the airbag light bag?
Would the free map ev program mentioned before allow the re programs required? I’ve bought a cable but don’t have a compatible laptop currently as my work one blocks the download but am trying to borrow one.
