My car showed an “Automatic Light System Failure, contact dealer” error today. It just suddenly showed up after driving for 10 mins.
When I talked to the dealer they said my car had sever recall items outstanding, including replacing the 12v battery, some high power charger cable and connection replacement and several control unit software updates.
As part of this they will look into the Lights error.
I have seen the 12v battery threads but has anyone had an official recall on this? Also, could the cable recall be related to the Taycan that caught fire?
I am dropping the car off on Thursday morning and they need it for at least the whole day, maybe 2. Will update if there is anything new to share after the recall.
