"Camera System Restricted" & "Warn and Brake Assist"

Hi,

I've had these errors appear each morning this week, but not last week.
I've read a few posts from 2020 and it seems that people got the issue fixed - is anyone else still getting them?
Should I just ignore them or report it to the dealer?

• The car is pre heated before I depart. My commute is only 10 minutes and 6 miles each way.
• 2 out of 4 times the error went before I reached my destination.
• Doesn't happen at night on my drive home.
• UK, had the car 1 week, 2 years old. All software up to date on car collection.
• This week the car is clean, roads dry, 2 degrees. Last week - with no errors - the car was dirty and used on wet journeys.
• I'm wondering if it can't cope with the cold. Or could it be condensation, though the wiper clears most of the windscreen sensors. The bumper sensor is clear.
• Or could it be an issue which needs addressing by Porsche?
• 6.5 years with a Golf R and never had this issue - less sensors but it had adaptive cruise, auto lights, auto brake assist.

Mine does that reasonably often, but my car is usually a bit on the dirty side. They often seem to disappear off the dash, though i'm not sure if this means the lack of functionality remains. I think it probably does start working again, as auto-beam does seem to work after i've had the warnings. So maybe they just pop up if the sensor is momentarily obscured? I assume it refers to the sensor in front of the rear-view mirror in the windscreen, thou i usually wipe the bits that look like they might be important on the bumper as well!

Let us know if you get any sense out of the dealer if you go. I suspect you may waste a morning and get the old 'we can't replicate the problem and nothing in the logs' response....

I've had the same recently and just assumed it was because the car was dirty and the roads here are dreadful. I'd be interested if there's any guidance from Porsche as to whether this is actually needs looking into.

Happens constantly in cold and freezing climate. Just do not pay attention to that. It disappears after a couple of kms

I've had the same errors pop up. It's usually in the mornings when there's dew on my car.

Three times this week for me on morning starts then clears after a few miles.

Only seldom had it previously.

Must be climate related this week in the UK?
