Congrats I think I'll probably get the plate installed as well. Same reasons but also I don't wanna draw more attention to myself this is a discreet car right?

Well - look at us - proper rule-following Canadians!

Do you know if the factory sends a moulded plate holder with the car that is formed to fit the contours of our bumpers or should we just expect the Porsche Vancouver plastic surround? I have the sport design front bumper so am not sure if the contours at the plate area are the same as the standard bumper.

Took delivery of mine yesterday and it is honestly a superb (electrical) machine !!
the side clear markers were BO so I’ll have to wait a the end of the month to swap them , but this is undoubtedly a really really fun car to drive , and a perfect daily driver !

Yes, I’m taking delivery tomorrow . PDI was completed today so if that’s the procedure then I’m ok with it. Likewise a front plate doesn’t bother me either rather the real thing than a sticker. I do have a set clear side markers I am going to have them swap out for me while completing the paperwork though. What color was your again? I’ll keep my eye out for it.

Pretty sure if you want the proper plate holder (made for your sport bumper), they will have it readily available.

Was just wondering... what came standard in yourcharger ''suitcase'' when you took delivery of the car in Canada?
Mine only had the Porsche Mobile charger connect with the 25 foot cable (I had ticked this optional box on the build sheet)with a NEMA-14/50 plug at the end. No other adapter (for instance, a ''normal'' 120 V plug if I ever decided to make a road trip and bring along the bulky PMCC...)
I wonder, should I have ticked other boxes while ordering? Is there a standard kit for Canadian/North American market?

If you did not also order the Porsche Dock, you should have received:
• Input cable with NEMA 14-50 plug
• Iput cable with NEMA 5-15 plug
• Two-piece Charger mount / release latch
• J-1777 wall mount storage hook
• Screws and wrench for permanent attachment of input cable (sounds important but the mechanical latch is very effective without the screw)
• Two or four manuals for Charger and dock installation and use.

Ask for them. People are replacing shortages by taking them from another person’s car. Porsche takes too long to get replacements and they cost a fortune compared to the factory delivered price.
