Are you sure of this? The AR gives it an increase of 3” (2.2” in the CT).

Have you measured the same point on your seat height without AR activating, then next with AR auto-activated, and finally compared those two measurements with the absolute max seat height at full no matter what you done in combination of max lift AND AR?

Would you please as yours has AR, take those three seat height measurements and post them below so we too can learn? Thank you.

Or maybe quicker/easier would be to set your chassis height to normal, open your door measure seat hieght with you in the car, then using the PCM set chassis heiught to Lfit” and measure that increase difference amount. Again thank you.

I measured my CT4S at a repeatable point (rear side of front wheels).
Taking the low setting as zero reference (absolute delta)
Low: +0
Lowered: +0.6cm
Standard: +2.0cm
Lift: +4.6cm
AR comfort entry: +6.9cm

Setting Active Ride comfort entry and opening the door from the lift level very obviously raises the car by another 2.3cm. Just a smidge less than an inch.

It may or may not matter for the use case (I have come to leave comfort entry off because i have found that it looks sort of show-offy dumb and i like the exercize of getting out from Low, but if one cares or needs the assist due to mobility issues.

The best work around is to raise the car just before parking and turn off the power in raised mode. When you get in, the car will still be raised. I have a steep short ramp from the street to my driveway, so I always raise the car before entering the driveway to avoid bottoming. The difference in height is not dramatic, but it does make it easier to get into the car.
I did that once but when I came back to the car it looked so silly.
My car is lowered to give it a more aggressive stance but raised it looks like a normal car, lol. 😖

On the low setting I can get out no problem whatsoever.
Actually I use a special technic.
Press the elbow of your left arm on the B-pillar and simultaneously your right hand on the steering wheel.
When you apply leverage to both arms you'll "throw" yourself out.
It's pretty handy, a Porsche mechanic told me that.
When you're getting older you must find ways to make it look more effortless to get out of the car or you will look like this guy. 🤣😂

Haha, that's similar to what I used to do with my J1 Taycan - use both elbows on the pillar and frame....
Not needed now with the Active Ride leaping up!

Intersting comments yesterday from my Master SA about AR. He is retiring before I order my next Porsche so has no skin in the game but said to me yesterday, “active ride is the single best option you can order,” adding, “if for budget reasons you need to cut out the interior leather, all carbon fiber, fancy wheels, and similar visual upgrades, cut them all if needed to get AR.”

More perspective to his comments is that he does not ever take his Porsche onto the track.

Today I built my first configuration with AR. Does bankruptcy loom (not just for Porsche)?

My wife of 56 years says my new, second wife is now the configurator; bet I have built over 100 different ones. Damn good thing Porsche does not even charge $1 per build or my Porsche savings account would be going backwards.
