Anyone else struggling with connectivity to car? Neither porsche or ovo app seems to be able to see car at moment. Maybe a weekend thing i guess.

Thanks. I've just discovered that if the apps won't connect then i don't get the discount on home charging.

The app is working this morning 👍
Thanks. Mine isn't!

I've got the struck-through equals sign in the top left of the PCM which is an issue. I had it quite a while back, but can't remember how i resolved it. Think i had to involve the smart mobility people, but it may have just sorted itself. engineering reboot didn't work. Will go and search my old threads on here!

🙁🙁 Hope you get this sorted, BigBob 🤞
Well worse case scenario they can look at it when it goes in for the new WPN8 recall. Earliest date they can fit it in is mid Feb! 🤦

My car hasn't been connecting at Electrify America charge stations the last few days so I've had to call EA for them to initiate the charge cycle. Yesterday (Nov. 19th) the guy at EA told me that it's a known issue with Porsche and "they are working on it". Don't know if this is the same as your issue.

Thanks. Mine is connectivity between the myporsche app and the car (via porsche servers). So think it's probably different to yours.

Have you tried the "adding yourself to the car a second time" hack? You'll get an error but then it'll start working again... Just a suggestion.

You could try a PCM reboot (two finger press top right of screen then select reboot). But sounds like it may be your actual GSM unit.

Yep, tried the 2 finger salute this morning.

When it happened before, i fiddled about with some fuses, but pretty sure i pulled the wrong ones and nearly lost a fuse inside the bodywork (no fuse diagram and no fuse wipers in my car). It did eventually sort itself out after 4 or 5 days from memory, but not sure what, if anything did it.

I might try the 12v disconnect if i can find it. Failing that i do have my recall booked in for 3 months time, so hopefully they'd fix it then.

I wouldn't really be that bothered, but lack of data connection means the ovo app can't connect so i have to pay full price for charging. grrr.
