Range issues

Hi.
Yesterday(29/10/23) drove from London to Birmingham & back. Total miles: 236 & had 32 miles left once back home. Taycan RWD with PB.

If you want to see higher range, cut your speed, stop using the loud pedal, turn all the air con off, don’t use the sat nav, stick it in range mode, and stick at a constant speed. I’m sure that your range will dramatically improve. About as much as the fun factor will dramatically deteriorate.

Alternatively, have fun, accept that it will have an impact on your range and factor in a real world range of 220 miles before you need to fill up again - you may well get 250 from full to empty, but you do not want to reach empty.

If you wanted range (and that was your only consideration), there are other better options out there. If your concerns are more about performance and having a very beautiful car, the only other thing that comes close is the i4.

I have not had my Taycon long, just a few weeks, for the last 2 charges, I have not got over 220. CT4S 93.4 Battery. Not sure if this is in line with others in the UK?

Mine is only 3 weeks old (GTS ST) with 1,050 miles and its less than 200 miles range currently. I do put that down to it still bedding in, some fun driving, and 500+ miles on a long journey at 'typical' (high) motorway speeds. Hoping it will creep up over time. A lot im sure is also down to the temperature, so you are probably about ok I suspect.

Thanks for sharing, at least I am similar to others. I have put it down to the colder weather also, don't get me wrong I love it and will learn on charging. Coming out of a Range Rover Sport SVR anything is better including insurance ?

The estimate in mine is about 240 at the moment, it was around 270 in summer and 220 in winter approximately.

Yep that's spot on (100% charge and around 190 miles @ 85% this time of year 3C ambient)

As it's colder now your range will drop quicker from what is reported on start up - obvious but just keep in mind.

In summer with ambient around 21C or higher you should expect 240 miles or more on a full charge.

the estimated range is pretty accurate
