My car arrived at the dealership yesterday and I got my activation email this morning. The vehicle is available in My Porsche app and I was able to activate all services. It’s exciting to see progress. I will pick it up a week from tomorrow and drive it 1000 miles home.

My SA just told me my car is "released for transport", this sounds good. does anyone have any experience with this status? do i have a few days or weeks?

I think a matter of days depending on transport availability. Mine was released for transport on 05/06 and actually transported to the dealer on 05/10. Two of the days between those dates was a Saturday and Sunday.

Very nice and love the wheels !! I was tempted to get those wheels, but the 3 extra cut outs per spoke would have killed my knees and lower back when cleaning. Yes - I am weakling...

Haha, I understand. Getting old sucks. In case anyone is wondering, those wheels are finished in Satin Black. The Mamba Green one they will eventually build for me will have the same wheels in Glass Black so I should have some good comparison points eventually.

I am a very impatient person when it comes to receiving goods, this was a lesson. Anyhow, this came from the port of San Diego so my fellow Taycan enthusiast with cars in SD can expect movement, great luck to all, I hope everyone's wait is soon to be a memory.

they apparently ship the cars with blocks in the suspension. If you hop in and “lower” it, it won’t go down. I think this is to keep air suspensions from settling and damaging anything.

I reckon ours might be on the same truck. My SA thinks it might arrive to Denver as soon as tomorrow. We’ll see…

Could be but mine is going to the dealer in St. Louis. I’m picking it up next week and driving it back to Denver. Hope to see you around!

car finished production 4/8, was supposed to leave Emden 4/22. Then 5/13. Now 5/20. No understanding of why its stuck Emden instead of Houston (im in TX).

the wait sucks but it did seem to pass quickly and at least your car has been built. It sounds like Taycan production will face many challenges in the near future.

One of the last few left on hold and my CT was released. SA has no clue when it will arrive…he said anywhere from today to Monday. It’s like 80 miles, you’d think he’d know. Hoping to pickup next week then

They really are beautiful. Invest in some good knee pads and go nuts.
