Different dash styles?

I've noticed different styles over the curved display, any idea why or what the difference is please?
I like the open dash as opposed to the shrouded version, hope mines the former when it arrives.

Any clue as to why they're different would be appreciated.

The “shrouded” version has the heads-up display option.

Agreed, the shroud diminishes the sleek look of the redesigned dash.

Kind of like the extra heat protection you get with the shroud - its a thing here in Houston where dashes literally become scorched earth if parked in sun in summer months! HUD an absolute must for me so possibly biased too
