Dog transport setup

I was hoping that carmats UK would have one for the Cross Turismo, the same as we have in the IX3 as I found this sort of quilted liner, with a no slip backing worked really well. They have said that the one on their website only fits the standard shape Taycan, but if anyone with a Cross happens to be near their factory in Mansfield, they will happily measure up and offer it up on their website

My beautiful GTS ST arrived yesterday, this morning I have dog proofed it, I think I’ve come up with a flexible solution to occasionally having to travel with my Car cover Spaniel.

I bought a Dog Bag which, with a bit of a wrestle, folds up small enough to go in the drunk or possibly in the under floor storage compartment. I also bought a boot buddy liner with a soft non-slip mat and the deluxe bumper protector. I haven’t used the liner for this setup but might in the winter.

The bumper protector folds up, it’s attached to the plastic trim above the storage lid with Velcro so can be completely removed although I positioned it high enough that the lid can still be opened. Unfolded it provides full protection to the bumper.

the boot cover is a great idea for protecting the back from luggage scratching it as well.

Bit of a thread resurrection, but I finally bought a boot liner from Over The Top. It arrived yesterday and I think looks pretty good in place. It is made to order in the UK and comes in 6 separate pieces (two for the split rear seats, both sides of the boot, base and bumper flap) and took about 10 minutes to fit. I like that set up as it makes it easier to machine wash. Dog has yet to get in the back, but I'm happy to far!

They can make them bespoke for cars with or without the holes in the ceiling, it’s excellent really secure and doesn’t impinge on boot space.

I envy our UK/Euro-based forum mates - as far as I can tell these options aren't available in the US. I tried to make my/poor man's version of this with moving blankets, and used adhesive Velcro tape. I don't want this as a permanent setup, though, and upon removing the blankets the material is being ripped off (or the tape detaches from the trim). Something with shank or snap buttons would be great.

I think so, I would tend to take the guard out if putting the parcel shelf in but I’d imagine it would fit
