Dreaded Red Error to New HV Battery in 12 Days!

Dealer said that they decided to get one of their own service technicians certified by Porsche in the HV battery technology & service, enabling them to do full repairs and replacements on the HV battery. Earlier they had to wait for one of the Porsche USA technicians to fly out and perform the repair. Suspect as fleng suggests the availability of parts has also improved.

Once the dealer got the replacement module for the HV battery, the repair was done within a week.

This is also good news for the price of replacing the battery out-of-warranty.
It means that the labor cost will be reasonable.

Yes should be affordable, but will still be expensive. My Zeekr 001 with 140kWh monster battery has a lifelong battery warrenty for a car that did cost me 58k USD.

Perhaps the quick battery availability was due to Porsche priming the supply chain for the ABP2 recall (battery seal failure) as they expect 3% of all MY23 Taycans to need a new battery.
