Dream Build 2023 Starts Here: GTS ST Allocation

This is a well spec'd GTS and not having the GTS interior but speccing luwury items makes me wonder whether you would be better with a Turbo. Personally I would not spec a GTS without the unique GTS wheels and interior.

The other things I prefer to see on an ST for cosmetics are no roof bars and no rear smoke windows but this is probably just me.

On colour I've seen both Chalk and Neptune. I chose Neptune. Chalk looks drab in my opinion especially in the sun and I live in Sunny SW France. But colour is a personal preference.

Sadly, if you want the sport turismo body style in the US your only choice is a GTS. Cross turismo is available in all the other trims here. As the original poster did, I as well have a GTS build with many GTS options left out, but the specific body style was most important to me and thankfully I was planning on optioning all the performance options anyway that is standard on the GTS. So I feel i still gained the value of the GTS model while personalising it to suit my tastes. As for resale, I am buying this for me, not the next guy, LOL I have been following your journey with your car and wish you an expedient delivery.

appreciate the feedback. As much as I like alcantara, I fear it getting oily or stained. (have 2 young kids) Plus i wanted the massage seats as i've heard they are awesome.


no roofbars would be cleaner, but as we have a dog and 2 small children I need to put a roofbox up for luggage and snowboards and skis. Also I mountain bike a lot so i need the rack. In regards to rear smoke windows...is that an option to remove?

Neptune definitely looks great. Chalk seems to do well on larger and longer vehicles imo, especially with the black accents.

Hey All, I was looking at another thread and saw that someone did carmine red seatbelts with black interior. I think that might work well since my brakes are red...thoughts?

I'm a fan of that for sure! the contrast on the interior will feel special and coordinate with your calipers perfectly. If you want to take it one more step, do the sport chrono face in red as well?

The roof bars are elegant but I prefer to see none. We also have 2 dogs but our kids are grown up so the back seat is free most of the time. I'm a road cyclist so I've ordered the rear bike rack. Make sure you add the bike rack prep option.

I hop I do like Neptune as much as I did when I saw a Sedan in the shown in this colour. We test drove a Chalk GTS ST and my wife hated the colour. For me it just looked drab and dull in the sun. My wife said may as well get flat white and save a load of money.

Now that I think about it, the carmine chrono clock may force the GTS interior package in Carmine red. This is what happened when I tried to do the Chalk sport chrono. So I chose the dark silver accents which changes up the color of the chrono face a little as well instead.

I could have chosen a white chrono face, but did not want to have an almost match.

You may be able to pick Bordeaux for the chrono face nd have it look good though in case the Carmine is not an option.


Edit - looks like Bordeaux seatbelts and bordeaux chrono face is the only way to go if not opting for GTS interior package in red (bundles carmine seatbelts and chrono face)

ended up selling my Tesla Model x (mainly because my kids would get sick from the instant torque and after cleaning up vomit a couple of times, i decided to switch).

Are you sure that Porsche is/will be the right car for your kids?

LOL...Hoping so...they already love Porsche, I also think the driving dynamics of Porsche are better than Tesla. crossing fingers it works for everyone

Its in the configurator called Bike Rack Prep. I'm in France so 492 euros and of course in French. If you can't find it then let me know and I'll check it out on your country configurator.
