Did a few runs and no issues so far. Knocking on wood this is now fixed for good.
On another note, I just realized I lost the comfort access (unlock door by touching the handle) and extended comfort access functions in vehicle locking settings. Wtf.

Check the PCM to see if it defaults to off (not activated) after they repaired your car.

Go to your vehicle’s app and download your Monroney Label (window sticker). Then, take it to the dealer who performed your warranty service and ask them to install the options listed for your car, since they were removed when the service was completed.

To summarize. The car spent 2 weeks initially on the dealership. They were trying to replicate the issue, but in the end couldn’t. I got the car back and within a day the issue happened again, took it in again the next day. I guess this was enough ammo to get Porsche to concede the repair, which runs around 20k. The fix took around 3 weeks.
