Ahhhh! Thanks!! I cannot find the filter for 1. But I found your Option panel by clicking on the icon next to each stop. To see the magic slider. Will try this out. 👍

EDIT: The warning is probably fair. The hard selection of a charging stop does prejudice the freedom of the nav to select better routes.
It is in the app.
First choose your destination!

Very nice hotel by the way!

Then look for the Charging in this picture

Then set your desired SoCat charging stops as well as at the destination and find the prefer chrhe point operators.

Then just select the operators you would like to use!

Beats me though that you have to do it in such a cumbersome way.

Why oh why have they not got that filter available in the car directly.

I simply navigate from one favorite (i.e. Ionity HPC) to the next.
I clearly must pay more attention. How does this work? I just jumped into the car to check - there is an option to save something as a favourite but how do I navigate from favourite to favourite? Do you mean like you only ask the thing to plan to the next stop, never planning the full route?

Planning a full route is pointless anyway, with the map crashing every few dozen km, and forgetting the route.

So far, so good. But earlier this week, I did a 200 + 200 km trip, and while navigation instructions and screen updates were spot on, there was another glitch: PCM showed that I would arrive at destination with a higher battery percentage than the current SOC (no charging sessions was planned). In fact, it kept going slowly upwards, as if the car was expecting a 100 km long downwards slope or something.

Anyone else seen this?
yup I’ve had this a few times over the past 3 years

For me, the higher SoC upon arrival without charging is a new issue since the fixes were implemented. It adds to the already long list of existing issues.

If a fix is nowhere near ready as per some posts in this thread, I wonder if anyone has advice on how we can all put even more pressure on Porsche to provide some sort of compensation for their systems failing? So far my calls to the dealer are still being met with “wow that’s strange, we haven’t heard anyone have that before”

Write the Porsche AG CEO and Directors.
Send details to automotive press.
Repeat monthly until your nav system works.

Make reports to your relevant government agency for this to be changed to a recall officially. Then they must provide a reasonable timeline for the fix

My car had its 6 years service last week. And a lot of reprogramming of 12 volt system plus navigation update and PCM update to 3885. Of course the car had no records of any faults despite just having had a disconnected 12 volt battery and some other issues. In a recall I also received my 6th heater system installed!

As for others the initial test show that turn by turn instructions are working for now and charge planner seem to be active and working.

If you look at the screen shot below you can see the absolute clutter of charger information, while navigating to the west coast of France. No wonder it is suspected that the PCM will run out of memory, by displaying all these charger details. I can understand that information for possible charging stops along the route can be of value. But to display chargers way back at 180 degrees of intended travel seems unnecessary. I did not scroll around the map too much to check if the same information would be displayed for all chargers in all of Europe. My filter is set to only use chargers > 150 kW. Most of the information is also way out of the range in my car, indicated by the thin blue line.

Let’s see how long time it takes before the navigation crashes again.

The design dates back to an era where you had to search hi and lo to find a HPC. In our present time, it makes zero sense to show charge points away from your route when you are spoiled for choice along that route.
My filter is set to only use chargers > 150 kW.
I missed another trick. Where do I specify that, please? (I have a hazy memory of seeing 50 somewhere, but I cannot readily recall. And in spite of this setting, my display will also happily show 7kW AC chargers when zooming in.) I would try 300kW as a starting value because those things rarely dispense more than 150 anyway.

And that’s how it should be with the exception of things when there is not enough hardware power for (but that is not a problem, features where there is not enough power for can be disabled easily on those models). And anyone that argues that there is not enough resources to filter/display HPC Locations, providers, showing off the current maximum charging load, allow users to stop charging via app does simply not know enough about how real software development is supposed to happen. These are not changes that change the characteristics of the car itself.
