Since yesterday, I have had the WTG1 update installed on my car. However, compared to others, I notice that this option is missing:
Screenshot 2026-05-29 090547.webp

In English, it likely reads: Home charging facility available.

Could colleagues who have already received the WTG1 update please check whether this item is present on your systems?

Thanks in advance,
Uli
I had WTG1 applied yesterday.

Home charging available is definitely still there.

All issues fixed my end. Navi all working perfectly.

Yesterday, I experimented again with various minimum SoC settings. The menu option simply didn't appear—not even after a reboot.

Then, a few hours later, I drove out to do some shopping. On the way back, just for fun, I checked again. Suddenly, the entry was there:

Here is my theory: after the WTG1 update, no home address was specified. I had set this yesterday. Perhaps this is required to unlock that particular setting; otherwise, the Charging Planner wouldn't know for which destination it should lower the minimum charge level.

So—all's good now!

My dealer begrudgingly agreed to sort the update next week when I'm in for an MOT. They reckon the MOT will take 3 hours, software update 2 hours, so "most of the day in total". I'm very interested to see what takes 3 hours on an MOT test for an electric car.

Ha, no concept of parallel processing then @Dabz?! In addition to printing time, it’s probably the video they do looking for things they can charge you for.

Nope, no workflow efficiency at all! I'm sure I'll get the usual - "this tyre only has 4mm of tread left" etc.

Hi F1Ruaraidh. Do you know how long the update took to install, please? My CT4S is booked in for Monday. I may have to wait around whilst they do the update. Would be good to know how long it takes.

Has the update solved the issue of the sat nav shutting down when your using the PCM nav and route planner? Mine shuts down all the time when using the PCM nav. Also what else has the update fixed / improved?

It's usually not the pcm update that takes time, there'll be other modules which need to be updated at the same time too, and from what I've heard when having updates in the past, sometimes they fail and need to be pushed a few times. I'd plan for at least 3 or 4 hours... And that's assuming the tech is sat watching the update and not working on another car at the same time

Yes, mine included an update to the 11kW AC charger as well.

It was collected at 6pm having been dropped off at 8:30. It was very shiny though!!

So yes multiple updates and, after a year of shouting at Porsche CS, my car now knows which end of the street my house is at!

My car was updated in a handful of hours.

I didn’t notice any performance improvements - but I did have my hardware replaced earlier, after which I did notice performance improvements that didn’t just go away.

I did receive 3 OTA app updates also, music, weather and some other stuff. Haven’t installed them yet.

My car didn’t lose any of the settings it had before.

The “sport sound” settings have indeed changed; before it used to be on/off + a stronger sound engaged just in sport+ driving mode. The new settings are normal - which is the equivalent of Off from before; and sport which is the equivalent of the sound from the sport+ driving mode. No more change in sound when going into sport plus mode. Essentially the lower volume sound is gone, and now it’s off or loud.

My dealer also mentioned that porsche is not sure if this will fix the issue, but so far in the few cars they did the update, it did fix it. So it seems to be a possible intermediary update, towards a bigger one? It could be just dealer interpretation however

WTG1 update done. It seems to have fixed the nav and router planner boot-loop issue. Too early to make any final conclusions yet but initially looking good!
