I know you can order them in high gloss black and other colors. if you get a used one without them painted, however, is it possible to get them painted? I mean, i know anything is possible, but is it a reasonable/normal thing that can be done by dealership or something?

Totally normal - They do refurb alloys if required as part of prep process when selling used cars, and if done properly it always involves stripping the wheel back to bare aluminium. Re-coating in black, silver or purple won’t make any difference!

I'd take them to a good paint shop that offers wheel refurbs, rather than the dealer. The dealer will more than likely sub-contract the job out anyway and charge some PAT to boot. In Uk at least i'd think it would be about £100 per wheel.

You may need to change colour of wheel hubs, so don't forget Porsche will want to have your eyes out for those. Paint shop will be able to get them if need be.

100 sounds too cheap perhaps for a good high-gloss black paint job. Still, its just a solid color paint nothing fancy, so should be easy.

i personally think it makes a huge difference in the look of the car:

It does, but I find that full black makes the design disappear too much for my taste, unless very glossy (and therefore very clean which isn’t often in the UK…).
Whichever way these CT wheels look awesome, and the gunmetal / diamond cut finish is great too so I’d recommend to wait to see the car before respraying

For 21s, probably about £120 per wheel

Wheels are subjected to tough conditions. If doing it aftermarket, it is important to use a reputable shop. Most shops aren’t painting/powder coating Porsche wheels so standards for quality and durability can vary alot. Choose wisely.
