Foggy rear camera

My front cam is more crisp than my rear cam, rear cam seems foggy, lens is clean, I know how to spray. Also look at 360, is this normal?

You are better off without the camera - substandard - a real Porsche disappointment. I will not even use it anymore, the rearview mirror works just fine.

I agree it's substandard, but I use my cameras all the time.

When parking and maneuvering in tight spaces, I rely on the yellow/red proximity sensors and audible warnings all the time.

It may be location dependant though. Lots of narrow streets and very tight parking where I live.

i understand your situation may be fine with mirrors only, but lots of us rely on these systems. it is not 'just fine' to have a tech-y camera system and it be 'substandard'. a word from users like you to your dealers/sa would help P understand how widespread and unworkable an issue it is. even if you yourself can overlook it. 2¢.

I’ve fed back to Porsche on the rear camera. Every little helps, right

However, I’d say that your camera is faulty and needs repair. Much have loose housing somewhere. The rear camera isn’t perfect, but it’s a lot better than that.

I'm sure they'll fix it, just hope they diagnose over whatsapp, rather than driving up there 2x

Every survey I have completed including service visits and Porsche Drivers Council, the camera issue is highlighted. Can't do much more than this! I am sure that PAG knows about this issue.

Dealer will replace cam next Tuesday, leak and condensed on inside.

Camera has been recplaced today, the picture is as it should now.
