Front windshield tint?

I did 60 on my front. I had 40 before but too dark at night if there is no street light.

Decided to go with 50.

70 would not reduce the glare enough for me and 50 is clear enough.

Do you have anymore side angle pics with the 20% side and 50% front ? I’m extra curious because I’ve had my fair share of state trooper stops, but that was having 5% side and 35% windshield.

Hey guys, so I live in sunny Florida, and I decided to do ceramic tint windows in my car. I went 20% on the four doors and 30% on the back glass so I can have a good view from the rearview mirror.

BUT I still feel a lot of heat coming in from the front windshield, coming from a not very good night view I do not want to go super dark, but for sure, I need some sun protection in the front windshield.

I can go 50% or 70% being the last one less dark, technically, when you go ceramic, you still get action, regardless of the darkness of the film

Have you think did yours? If yes, can you please post pictures and what percentage you use for your Tints?

Ive tinted my last 4 vehicle windshield with 70% UV tint that does a good job rejecting heat energy without compromising viability out the windshield. Also it's not dark enough to tip off police and give them an excuse to pull me over and ticket me.

No i did not ordered the soundproofed ones. And they are all 87% colorless ( or 84%)

5 is limo tint. That is always questionable.

that was always my combo in my country 5/35 as I needed the privacy big time but it was dark at nights.

I like the 70 because I can still see at night which is pretty important. The heat rejection in nevada is pretty good in summer with 70 as well.

Visual is very clear with CIR50

20% all windows (including the strip on the top of the windshield) and 70% on the windshield. No one knows it is on the windshield and cuts down on heat, but allows perfect vision day and night.

Your tint came out great... particularly the contrast of a darker tint on a lighter color car.

I still want some privacy (not as dark as yours) but primarily heat rejection. I'm thinking 35% all around and 70% front windshield - with a black interior.

I don't plan to install the front license plate, so wouldn't want tint that's too dark (and illegal) to also create a reason to get pulled over.
