Got the recall notice a month ago or so. Heater died today and they indicated they've been allocated the new/updated part. I haven't seen anyone mention having the recall performed yet, so I wasn't sure the new update was available, but they told me it should be the updated version in the recall.

Does the heat pump not pick up any of the heating duties? I had zero heat and thought the HV heater was to just assist the heat pump.

Thanks.

Yes, some people at least 5 times :)

The "updated" part brakes all the same, around the clock, every 6-18months. So usually it gets replaced under warranty before you make it to the next recall list.

Had mine done of my first 4SCT when the car was about 18 months old. Heater had not failed so just replaced as part of the recall campaign. The TSB allocates 600 TMUs or 6 hours but they have done so many my OPC did it in 2.25 hours while it was in for its first service. All completed in one day.

I thought this last ASB0 recall was another revised heater that was just released. My dealer said this is a new part that just got allocated to them.
