Nah, I think it's a security issue. Instead of assuming everything is ok while the app waits for the car's response (or better app → porsche server → car → porsche server → app), it assumes everything is wrong until confirmation. That's why it "assumes" windows are down or car is unlocked when you open the app and after a few seconds when the green dot appears, everything is cleared. Developers basically wanted to make sure (or protect porsche legally) that no user would get a "everything is ok" if the app can't get a response from the porsche servers.

That crossed my mind, but it's not consistent. Upon opening, the app will show the 'last known state' while it's refreshing, but the point was that the 'last known state' should have never shown a open window - because, you know, it was never open. Opening/closing doors does trigger a window movement, hence my theory of sampling at the wrong time.

But can I Turn it off permanently on sports plus too? (IMO it is dreadful)

Let me know if you find a way. The only use for sport noise for me is late night driving through the country, scare away deer and other animals.

I swear there was a thread on disconnecting the sport sound speaker(s), but can't find it. Have a look at this. (Different objective, but the diagram should help.)

The thing is, I do want the sport sound available for manual activation, but not have it on with SportPlus automatically. I found a use for sport sound - it is scaring deer! On one trip the PCM took me so far off road in the middle of the night, that I found my car surrounded by 4 or 5 deer (it was a dirt road, I was already looking for a clearing so I can just turn around). Turned on sport sound, they scattered. So while it was not on my want list, turns out it has a use. I drove the rest of the night with it on, as I was traveling on rural roads, so warning animals ahead was a good idea.

Only possible if you have one of the diamond / joker keys programmed to enable / disable electric Sport Sound in the first place otherwise configure Individual mode to be the same as Sports Plus without the sound.
